About author:Li Yongquan, born in 1962, is a doctor of engineering and a professor-ship senior engineer. He got his master’s degree from Wuhan Iron and Steel Institute (now is Wuhan University of Science and Technology) in 1989, majoring in inorganic nonmetallic materials. And then he obtained the PhD from University of Science and Technology Beijing in 1998, majoring in ferrous metallurgy. He had worked in Baosteel Research Institute since 1990. From 1999 to 2000, he was a visiting scholar at Carnegie Mellon University. He joined Ehman Comilao (Shanghai) Trading Co., Ltd. in 2005, and Shanxi Daoer Aluminum Co., Ltd. in 2013. He joined The Association of China Refractories Industry in September 2019. He is currently the vice president of The Association of China Refractories Industry.
